Rev. Alexander Pinter
Alexander Pinter came from Hungary and was first assigned to the Toledo diocese in 1946, where he was incardinated in 1955. He was accused of abuse 1956-60 at St. Stephen’s in Toledo. Then, he was sent to Canada for treatment and later assigned there. In 1974, he became a parish priest in Louisiana and died in New Orleans on 11/15/78.
Pinter had also worked in the Diocese of Oakland and was on the Oakland diocese’s list in 2019. He was accused in a January 2020 lawsuit filed under the CA Child Victims Act of abusing an altar boy in 1964 at St. Francis in Vista, CA. This was included on the Toledo diocese’s list of credibly accused in 4/20.
